Master of Science in Health Sciences in Clinical Research Administration

In 2001, GW launched the first online Master of Science in Health Sciences (MSHS) in Clinical Research Administration program. Since the program’s inception, GW has been uniquely qualified to bring you the highest standards of clinical, regulatory and business requirements in the development of new therapeutics and conduct of clinical trials. The 36-credit graduate degree can be completed in as little as two years. Also, all courses in the 18-credit graduate certificate program are transferable to the MSHS.

The Clinical Research Administration curriculum was designed using the eight Competency Domains for the Clinical Research Professional outlined by the Joint Task Force for Clinical Trial Competency. These eight domains cover a broad range of topics, including ethics, data management and professional leadership and prepares graduates for placement or advancement in the clinical research field.

As a leader in providing academic programs for the clinical research profession for over a decade, GW offers the online Master of Science in Health Sciences (MSHS) in Clinical and Translational Research.

Students in the Master of Science in Health Science (MSHS) in Clinical & Translational Research Program will successfully complete 36 credit hours of coursework in the field of CTR, health care research courses, and courses selected with the objective of broadening the candidate’s translational research capabilities. Also, all courses in the 18-credit graduate certificate program are transferable to the MSHS.
