Take the next step to furthering your health care career by enrolling in a specialized online graduate degree from the George Washington University (GW). With a bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution, a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and health care experience, you already meet the minimum requirements for admissions consideration. - Completed Application
All candidates must complete a GW online application for the School of Medicine and Health Sciences. You will create an account and receive a PIN and password to work on your application over time.
- Application Fee
Applicants to GW must submit a $80 non-refundable application fee. This fee may only be waived for:
- Active-duty U.S. military personnel
- Current GW undergraduate or graduate students
- Degree-holding GW alumni and current McNair Program Scholars (with the appropriate fee waiver form)
- Statement Of Purpose
Applicants must include a 250-500 word essay describing your reasons for undertaking study at GW, your academic objectives, career goals and related qualifications, including collegiate, professional, and community activities, relevant to your program of interest. Include any substantial accomplishments not already mentioned on the application form.
- Reference Letters (Two letters of recommendation, must be signed and on letterhead.)
- Official Transcripts
Submit official transcripts from every college and university you attended, whether or not a degree was earned, to the following address:
